Agency or independent

One of the age old hooker questions... should you work for yourself or for someone else???

When i first started out I knew it was better to be independent. But at the same time working for an agency has some perks.

The pros & cons of working for an agency:

Pros

1. Established clientele

2. More business= more clients in a day

3. Less work for you, they post the ads and bring in the clients for you

Cons

1. Many use fake pics

2. The cut is usually 50/50 or 60/40.

3. Some dont screen properly in order to book as many clients as possible

4. Borderline being your pimp,

5. More clients in a day

I started out completely independent. The problem with that is, i didnt know anyone. Being a new provider in a city that relys on reviews is not a great thing. Many clients are afraid to see a girl with no reviews. I did get a few clients but not as many as i would have liked.

So i turned to an agency.

At this point it was a big mistake. Yes for the short period of time i worked for them i made a good amount of money. But what i was giving up for that money made it not worth it.

When you work for an agency you are giving up alot of your freedom. For a strong willed woman like me who comes and goes as she pleases this made my agency work very short lived.

We had a great 2 weeks...

In my opinion, if you are cluless about the business and do not know anyone who already does it then working for an agency will be a crash course. You will learn alot in a very short amount of time.

You will have more clients in one day then you may have in say 3-7 days as an independent. Depending...

I learned how to deal with many different types of clients while i was there. From the impotent, to the cheap asses, to the ones who try their hardest to get over on you.

I also learned how easy it is to get sucked into having a 'manager' aka pimp. It can be easier to work for or with someone because all you have to do is show up. You dont have to worry about posting ads, finding and paying for an incall, working the clients...

But, i am a business woman. I know what i want. I thought, hey, why not try it just once to see what its like and if i like it better than working on my own.

But being the woman that i am. I had to leave. I love to be able to do me, when, where, how, and with who i want. No questions asked. No one checking on me.

And being able to keep all of my money!

So like i said, i had to try it. Its good to be able to say i did it once.

Would i do it again?? Hell no...

Do i recommend any one else to try it? If you have done your research and are like me and hate having too answer to someone hell no!

If you do try it make sure you go with an agency that is well known in your area and have girls that are well reviewed. Otherwise you are completely wasting your time.

Most of the ones that post ads looking for new girls are nothing but glorified pimps trying to pass themselves off as agencies.

If you respond to an ad, screen them as if you would do a client. See if they have a website. Ask them if and how they screen their clients. Find out if they use real photos. When speaking with them on the phone go with your gut. If there is something not right or something that screams fake then they are.

You have to be very careful with this because there is way too much sex trafficking going on. Do not become a part of it.

Never do anything you dont want to do.

Always hold your ground no matter what.

In this business, relationships are very fragile. You can not trust anyone who is selling you. Because they do not have your best interest at heart, only theirs and money.

Money is the motivation of this industry. Stay on top of your game always ladies!
